Job Description
- Gather regulatory intelligence and prepare periodic reports on relevant regulatory developments.
- Engage proactively with regulatory authorities and represent the organization in regulatory meetings, AIS, and BIS panels.
- Establish and maintain regular engagement with concerned Ministries, Government departments, and test agencies to provide updates on schemes, policies, and regulatory matters relevant to Bosch.
- Track ongoing Government schemes and develop a structured process for effective internal information dissemination.
- Work in close coordination with Ministries and Government departments to obtain necessary approvals related to licenses, NOCs, exemptions, and similar regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all company activities are compliant with applicable government standards and reporting obligations.
- Prepare white papers and policy briefs to support advocacy and strategic decision‑making.
- Navigate Government procurement processes, monitor tendering opportunities, and create strategic partnership opportunities for the organization.
- Identify potential business and regulatory risks in advance and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics) from a reputed institute with 8+ years of experience in Automotive Policies and Regulations.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry, regulatory frameworks, and regulation formulation processes.
- Prior experience engaging with Government bodies, Ministries, and industry associations.
- Proven ability in regulatory intelligence gathering, risk assessment, and policy evaluation.
- Experience in drafting technical reports, white papers, and policy briefs, and benchmarking against international practices.
- Capability to support licenses, approvals, exemptions, and regulatory clearances, with basic knowledge of import/export and customs processes.
- Proactive, well‑networked professional with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills, and a collaborative team‑oriented approach.
- Polite, Humble, Effective communicator with strong presentation skills, capable of preparing data‑driven and insight‑based presentations.
- Soft‑spoken, polite, humble, and persuasive in approach while engaging with stakeholders.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Should be able to deliver under pressure.
