Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the establishment and structuring of investment funds in DIFC and ADGM
- Draft fund documentation including PPMs, limited partnership agreements, and subscription documents
- Handle DFSA (Dubai Financial Services Authority) and ADGM FSRA fund licensing applications
- Advise on SCA-regulated investment funds on the UAE mainland
- Support real estate fund structuring, including REIT formations under DIFC and ADGM frameworks
- Advise on ESG fund structuring and sustainable finance regulatory developments in the UAE
Requirements
- 4-7 years PQE in investment funds, asset management, or financial services regulatory law
- Experience with DIFC or ADGM fund regulation
- Knowledge of DFSA and ADGM FSRA regulatory requirements for fund managers and funds
- Familiarity with Cayman, Luxembourg, or Jersey fund structures beneficial
- Common law qualification required
- Fluent English; Arabic is advantageous
