Job Description
Alem & Associates seeks a Junior Associate to support its Banking and Finance practice in Beirut. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work on banking regulatory matters, loan documentation, and financial transactions for leading regional banks and financial institutions.
Responsibilities
Assist in drafting and reviewing loan agreements, security documents, and banking contracts. Research Lebanese banking regulations and Banque du Liban circulars. Support senior lawyers on regulatory compliance matters. Prepare legal memoranda on banking and finance issues. Assist with due diligence for financial transactions.
Requirements
Licence en Droit or LLM from a recognized university. Admission to the Beirut Bar Association or completion of the stagiaire training period. 1-3 years of experience in banking or finance law. Proficiency in Arabic, French, and English. Understanding of Lebanese banking regulations and Central Bank circulars.
