Junior Associate — Corporate & M&A at AF Mpanga Advocates
AF Mpanga Advocates invites applications from recently qualified advocates for a Junior Associate position in its Corporate and M&A practice. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for early-career lawyers to gain experience in complex corporate transactions under the mentorship of some of Uganda's most accomplished practitioners.

Responsibilities
- Assist senior associates and partners in corporate transactions
- Conduct due diligence and prepare due diligence reports
- Draft corporate documents including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and share transfer documentation
- Research corporate law and regulatory requirements
- Prepare company incorporation and registration documents at URSB
- Maintain transaction document management systems
Requirements
- LLB degree from a recognized university (Upper Second Class or above preferred)
- Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre
- Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda
- 1-2 years of post-qualification experience or recently completed pupillage
- Strong academic record and keen interest in corporate law
- Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills
Compensation
USh2,500,000 - USh4,000,000/month
