Junior Litigation Associate

Herzog Fox & Neeman is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate for its Azrieli Center offices. Herzog's litigation department is among Israel's largest and most respected, handling landmark Supreme Court cases, complex commercial disputes, and class actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers on complex commercial litigation before Tel Aviv District Court and Magistrate Courts
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda in Hebrew
• Conduct legal research on Israeli civil procedure, contract law, and corporate law disputes
• Attend court hearings and assist with oral advocacy preparation
• Handle pre-trial procedures including disclosure, interrogatories, and expert witness coordination
• Assist with class action defense and representative proceedings under the Class Actions Law 5766-2006
• Support the team on administrative law cases and Supreme Court (Bagatz) petitions

• Israel Bar Association membership — recently admitted after completing staj (articles)
• 0-2 years of post-qualification litigation experience
• Excellent Hebrew legal writing and analytical skills
• Strong academic record — LLB from Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, or equivalent
• Knowledge of Israeli civil procedure and the Courts Law
• Good English skills; bilingual drafting ability is an advantage
• Ability to manage high-pressure workloads and tight deadlines
