Job Description
Petrol d.d. is seeking a Legal Advisor for our Commercial & Procurement legal team based at our Celje regional office. You will provide legal support for Petrol's extensive retail and wholesale operations, supply chain contracts, and procurement activities across the Slovenian market.
Celje, Slovenia's third-largest city and an important commercial hub in the Savinjska region, hosts Petrol's regional operations covering central and eastern Slovenia. The role involves advising on the Obligacijski zakonik (OZ, Code of Obligations), Zakon o javnem naročanju (ZJN-3, Public Procurement Act), and commercial regulations governing Petrol's fuel distribution, retail network, and energy services.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate supply agreements, distribution contracts, and framework agreements for Petrol's retail operations. Advise on public procurement procedures under ZJN-3 for Petrol's participation in public tenders. Review and standardize commercial terms and conditions across Petrol's business lines. Handle commercial disputes and claims, including warranty, indemnity, and liability matters. Support regional operations with day-to-day legal advisory on contract management.
Requirements
Magister prava from a recognized university. 2-4 years of experience in commercial, contract, or procurement law. Knowledge of the Obligacijski zakonik (Code of Obligations) and ZJN-3 (Public Procurement Act). Experience with supply chain and distribution agreements. Fluent in Slovenian and English.
