Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyse financial regulatory developments across banking, insurance, securities, and payments sectors
- Assist in drafting MAS regulations, guidelines, circulars, and consultation papers
- Support licensing assessments for financial institutions under the Banking Act, Insurance Act, and SFA
- Prepare legal briefings on emerging areas such as digital payment tokens, stablecoins, and DeFi regulation
- Assist with enforcement actions and regulatory investigations
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, or qualified in a common law jurisdiction
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience; fresh graduates from NUS, SMU, or SUSS law programmes welcome
- Interest in financial regulation, fintech, and central banking
- Strong research and legal writing skills
- Singapore citizen or permanent resident
Compensation
S$5,500 - S$7,500/year
