Position Overview
Job Description
Arab Bank's Credit Administration department in Amman seeks a Legal Assistant to handle credit documentation, loan agreement processing, and security registration. Based at the Shmeisani headquarters, you will ensure all lending documentation is complete, properly executed, and registered with the relevant government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process loan documentation, guarantees, and security agreements
- Register mortgages and charges with the Department of Lands and Survey
- Verify legal opinions and conditions precedent for credit disbursement
- Maintain the credit documentation filing system
- Coordinate with external lawyers on title searches and property valuations
Requirements
- LLB or diploma in law/legal studies
- 0-2 years experience in banking documentation or legal administration
- Knowledge of Jordanian property and security registration procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems
- Arabic fluency required; English a plus
