Job Description

Intesa Sanpaolo, Italy's largest bank by total assets, is hiring a Legal Counsel for its banking operations legal team at the historic Piazza San Carlo 156 headquarters in Turin. You will provide day-to-day legal support for the bank's retail and corporate banking divisions, handling lending documentation, regulatory queries, and customer disputes.

  • Draft and review loan agreements, mortgage contracts, and guarantee documentation under Italian banking law (TUB)
  • Advise branch operations on consumer protection regulations (Codice del Consumo) and transparency requirements
  • Handle customer complaints and coordinate with ABF (Arbitro Bancario Finanziario) for dispute resolution
  • Monitor regulatory changes from Banca d'Italia, EBA, and the ECB's Single Supervisory Mechanism

Requirements

  • Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza
  • Admitted as Avvocato; 3-5 years PQE in banking or financial services law
  • Strong knowledge of TUB and Banca d'Italia circulars
  • Working English
