Job Description
Bank Central Asia (BCA), Indonesia's largest private bank, is hiring a Legal Counsel for its Commercial Banking division at the Menara BCA in Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta. You will manage legal risk across BCA's extensive branch network, advising on credit facilities, corporate lending, and regulatory compliance with Bank Indonesia and OJK requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review credit agreements, guarantees, and security documents for corporate clients
- Advise business units on banking regulations, anti-money laundering (APU-PPT), and KYC compliance
- Manage litigation and debt recovery proceedings before the Pengadilan Negeri
- Review new product legal structures (digital banking, fintech partnerships)
- Coordinate with external counsel on complex transactions
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised Indonesian university
- Admitted as Advokat by PERADI
- 5-8 years experience in banking or financial services law
- Strong knowledge of UU Perbankan and Bank Indonesia regulations
- Experience with APU-PPT (AML) compliance frameworks
Responsibilities
