Role Overview

SABIC operates some of the world's largest petrochemical complexes in Jubail Industrial City. You will advise on environmental regulations, industrial safety compliance, and the legal aspects of SABIC's sustainability and circular economy initiatives aligned with Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on environmental regulations issued by the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC)
  • Handle regulatory permits, environmental impact assessments, and waste management compliance
  • Advise on occupational health and safety regulations and incident investigations
  • Draft and review supply agreements, feedstock contracts, and logistics arrangements
  • Support SABIC's ESG reporting and sustainability legal framework
  • Manage environmental disputes and regulatory enforcement actions

Requirements

  • LLB from a recognized university; LLM in environmental law or energy law preferred
  • 5-8 years of legal experience, preferably in the industrial or energy sector
  • Knowledge of Saudi environmental regulations and NCEC requirements
  • Experience with industrial compliance and HSE legal support
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
