Job Description
Hera SpA is hiring a Legal Counsel for its regulatory and environmental law team at Viale Carlo Berti Pichat 2/4 in Bologna, adjacent to the University of Bologna's historic campus and near the Tribunale di Bologna. You will handle environmental permitting, energy regulation, and public service concessions for one of Italy's largest multi-utility companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on environmental permits, waste management regulations (D.Lgs. 152/2006 — Testo Unico Ambientale), and emissions trading
- Handle regulatory filings and tariff submissions to ARERA (energy and water regulator)
- Manage public procurement processes for utility concession renewals across Emilia-Romagna
- Draft contracts for waste-to-energy, water treatment, and district heating projects
Requirements
- Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza
- Admitted as Avvocato; 3-6 years PQE in environmental, energy, or administrative law
- Knowledge of D.Lgs. 152/2006, ARERA regulations, and EU environmental directives
- Working English
