This internship provides hands-on experience in Luxembourg banking law, wealth structuring, and regulatory compliance within a prestigious private banking institution. You will assist the legal team with client documentation, regulatory matters, and product legal reviews.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with legal review of private banking client documentation and account opening procedures
  • Research Luxembourg banking regulation and CSSF requirements for private banks
  • Support AML/KYC documentation review and compliance processes
  • Assist with wealth structuring legal analysis for HNW clients
  • Draft internal legal advisory notes on banking product compliance

Responsibilities

  • Support the private banking legal team on daily matters
  • Conduct legal research on banking regulatory topics
  • Assist with client documentation review and compliance checks
  • Attend internal meetings and training sessions
  • Complete assigned research and analysis projects

Requirements

  • Enrolled in final year of Master in Law at a recognised European university, or recent graduate
  • Interest in banking law, private banking, or wealth management
  • Fluent in English and French; German is a strong advantage for the DACH client base
  • Good analytical and research skills
  • Familiarity with Luxembourg banking law basics is desirable
