Job Description
Engro Corporation seeks a Legal Manager for its Corporate & M&A function in Karachi. The role involves advising on group-level M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and investments across Engro's diversified business portfolio spanning fertilizers, energy, petrochemicals, food, and telecom.
Responsibilities
Leading M&A transactions including due diligence, negotiations, and documentation. Advising on corporate restructurings and group reorganisations. Managing joint venture agreements and partnership arrangements. Overseeing regulatory filings with SECP, CCP, and other authorities. Providing strategic legal counsel to Engro's business units.
Requirements
LLB from a recognised university. Enrolled with a Provincial Bar Council. 5-8 years PQE in corporate, M&A, or in-house legal roles. Experience with cross-border transactions and foreign investment regulations. Understanding of SECP, CCP, and sector-specific regulatory frameworks.
Compensation
Rs300,000 - Rs500,000/month
