Job Description
Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) seeks a Legal Officer to handle energy regulation, procurement compliance and corporate governance matters for the national electricity utility.
Responsibilities
- Advise on power purchase agreements and IPP contracts
- Ensure compliance with Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority directives
- Handle procurement disputes and contractor claims
- Support board secretarial and corporate governance functions
Requirements
- LLB and admitted in Botswana
- 2–4 years in energy, commercial or regulatory law
- Knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act and BERA regulations
