Job Description
Legal Officer — ZainCash Iraq, Baghdad
ZainCash Iraq is hiring a Legal Officer in Baghdad through its official Workable careers page. The role supports a fintech and mobile-wallet business with legal advice, legal risk reporting, regulatory and court representation, and enforcement follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to management and departments on applicable laws and regulations
- Prepare legal briefs and risk-assessment reports with recommendations
- Represent the company before courts, judicial bodies, and regulatory authorities in Baghdad and other governorates
- Support enforcement of judgments and decisions while protecting company rights and reducing operational risk
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- 3-5 years of practical legal experience, preferably in fintech or a corporate environment
- Registered member of the Iraqi Bar Association
- Strong legal research, report writing, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Arabic proficiency required; English fluency is preferred
