Position Overview
Job Description
The Israel Securities Authority (ISA) is seeking a Legal Researcher for its Corporate Finance Division in Jerusalem. This entry-level role involves reviewing prospectuses, corporate disclosures, and regulatory filings for companies seeking to raise capital on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE).
Key Responsibilities
- Review prospectuses and offering documents for IPOs, secondary offerings, and bond issuances on TASE
- Analyze corporate disclosure compliance including immediate reports, annual reports, and transaction reports
- Research Israeli and comparative securities law issues for policy development
- Assist in drafting regulatory guidance notes and ISA position papers
- Monitor corporate governance compliance of TASE-listed companies
- Support the ISA's fintech and digital assets regulatory sandbox program
- Attend ISA committee meetings and prepare background materials
Requirements
- Israel Bar Association membership or eligibility (recent staj completion)
- 0-2 years of legal experience; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply
- LLB from a recognized Israeli law faculty with strong academic results
- Knowledge of Securities Law 5728-1968 and Israeli Companies Law 5759-1999
- Strong analytical and legal research skills
- Fluent Hebrew and English
- Israeli citizenship required
Compensation
₪14,000 - ₪18,000/year
