Key Responsibilities
- Assess merger notifications under Section 54 of the Competition Act and CCCS Merger Guidelines
- Conduct market definition analysis, competitive effects assessment, and counterfactual analysis for notified mergers
- Draft Grounds of Decision and issue commitment letters for merger clearances
- Advise merging parties on the notification process, timeline, and information requirements
- Coordinate with overseas competition authorities on multi-jurisdictional mergers
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, or qualified in a common law jurisdiction
- 3–5 years of experience in competition law, corporate law, or regulatory practice
- Knowledge of the Competition Act and CCCS guidelines
- Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex economic and legal issues
- Singapore citizen or permanent resident preferred
Compensation
S$7,000 - S$10,000/year
