Job Description
Lex Chambers, a leading full-service law firm in Kigali, is seeking a Litigation Associate. You will handle commercial litigation, arbitration and insolvency matters before Rwandan courts and the Kigali International Arbitration Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare court filings, pleadings and legal submissions
- Represent clients at hearings before Commercial and High Courts
- Handle insolvency and business rescue proceedings
- Draft legal opinions and advisory memoranda
- Manage discovery processes and evidence preparation
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised institution
- Admitted by the Rwanda Bar Association
- ILPD professional course completed
- 2-5 years litigation experience
- Strong advocacy and courtroom skills
