Job Description
Ritz Attorneys at Law, Malawi's largest law firm, seeks a Litigation Associate for its busy dispute resolution team in Blantyre. You will handle commercial litigation, employment disputes and debt recovery proceedings in the Blantyre High Court and subordinate courts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pleadings, heads of argument and written submissions for the High Court
- Appear before the High Court, Industrial Relations Court and subordinate courts in Blantyre
- Manage a portfolio of litigation and debt recovery matters
- Advise clients on dispute resolution strategy including mediation and arbitration
Requirements
- LLB and admitted as Legal Practitioner
- 2–4 years litigation experience in a Malawian law firm
- Strong advocacy and research skills
