Manager — Legal & Regulatory Affairs

MTN Rwanda, the country's leading telecommunications provider, is recruiting a Manager for its Legal and Regulatory Affairs department. You will manage legal, regulatory and corporate governance matters, with a focus on telecommunications licensing, competition law and data privacy compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory engagement with RURA and other government agencies
• Oversee licence compliance and spectrum allocation matters
• Advise on data privacy law, the Personal Data Protection Law of 2021
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with vendors and partners
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution portfolio

Requirements

• LLB degree from a recognised university
• Admitted by the Rwanda Bar Association
• 5+ years legal experience, including 2+ years in telecoms or technology
• Knowledge of RURA regulations and the ICT Law
• Strong leadership and team management skills
