Jadek & Pensa is seeking a Paralegal to support our Insolvency & Restructuring practice in Ljubljana. You will assist lawyers with insolvency proceedings, creditor representations, and corporate restructuring matters under Slovenian law.
The role involves working with the Zakon o finančnem poslovanju, postopkih zaradi insolventnosti in prisilnem prenehanju (ZFPPIPP, Financial Operations, Insolvency Proceedings and Compulsory Dissolution Act) and supporting the team in proceedings before the Okrožno sodišče (District Court). This position provides valuable experience in one of the most specialized areas of Slovenian commercial law.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file insolvency petitions, claims, and creditor submissions with the court. Organize creditor committees and maintain documentation for insolvency proceedings. Assist with financial restructuring documentation, including restructuring plans and creditor proposals. Conduct research on ZFPPIPP provisions and relevant case law. Coordinate with insolvency administrators, court officials, and creditors on procedural matters.
Requirements
Diploma or Magister prava from a recognized Slovenian university. 0-2 years of experience in a legal or financial environment. Familiarity with ZFPPIPP and insolvency proceedings. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Fluent in Slovenian; English proficiency preferred.

€1,500 - €2,000/year
