Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on Iraqi law, regulations, and case precedents
- Manage company registration and licensing processes with Iraqi government authorities
- Prepare court filings, notarization documents, and legalization procedures
- Maintain case management database and document filing systems
- Assist with due diligence document review for M&A transactions
- Coordinate with translators for Arabic-English legal document translation
- Handle apostille and document authentication for cross-border matters
Requirements
- LLB from an accredited Iraqi university or paralegal certification
- 1-3 years of experience in a law firm, legal department, or government legal office
- Knowledge of Iraqi government registration and filing procedures
- Proficient in Arabic and English
- Strong organizational and document management skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal research databases
Compensation
IQD1,200,000 - IQD2,000,000/year
