Job Description
Penkov, Markov & Partners is seeking a Paralegal to provide litigation support across its dispute resolution practice. The role involves preparing court filings, managing case files, conducting legal research, and coordinating with courts and enforcement agencies. Responsibilities
Preparing and filing court documents, motions, and procedural submissions; Managing litigation case files and tracking court deadlines; Conducting legal research on case law and legislative developments; Coordinating service of process and communication with courts; Assisting lawyers in preparation for hearings and trial proceedings; Organizing and indexing evidence and supporting documentation; Maintaining databases of active cases and their procedural status.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification; 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant (fresh graduates with strong academic records considered); Knowledge of Bulgarian Civil Procedure Code and court filing procedures; Familiarity with legal research databases and document management systems; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Proficient in Bulgarian and English; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
