About the Role
Potamitis Vekris is seeking a Real Estate & Tourism Law Associate for our Athens practice. Greece's booming tourism sector and real estate market create unique opportunities. You will advise on hotel acquisitions, resort development, and commercial real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on real estate acquisitions including title searches and zoning analysis
- Draft and review sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, and construction contracts
- Advise on tourism licensing, hotel management agreements, and short-term rental regulations
- Handle real estate aspects of Golden Visa applications for foreign investors
- Research Greek land registry (Ktimatologio) and cadastral matters
Requirements
- Greek law degree; knowledge of Greek property law and Law 4495/2017 (spatial planning)
- Active member of the Dikigoritikos Syllogos Athinon
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate or tourism law
- Understanding of Greek Golden Visa program and investment immigration
- Fluent in English; additional language (German, French, or Chinese) a plus
