Job Description
IMMMA Advocates, a member of DLA Piper Africa, seeks a Senior Associate to join its Banking & Finance practice in Dar es Salaam. The role involves advising local and international financial institutions on complex lending transactions, project finance, and regulatory compliance under the Banking and Financial Institutions Act. The candidate will work closely with DLA Piper Africa's regional network on cross-border transactions across East Africa.
Requirements
LLB from a recognized university. Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in banking and finance law. Experience with project finance, syndicated lending, and regulatory matters. Strong understanding of the Bank of Tanzania regulatory framework.
