Position Overview
Job Description
ENSafrica Rwanda seeks a Senior Associate for its Employment and Labour Law practice. You will advise multinational employers, NGOs and government agencies on all aspects of Rwandan employment law, from hiring to termination and everything in between.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on employment contracts, HR policies and workplace compliance
- Handle dismissal procedures under the Rwandan Labour Law
- Represent clients before labour tribunals and courts
- Draft employee handbooks and internal regulations
- Advise on work permits and immigration for expatriate staff
Requirements
- LLB degree; LLM in Labour Law preferred
- Admitted by the Rwanda Bar Association
- 5+ years employment law experience in Rwanda
- Knowledge of the Law Regulating Labour in Rwanda (2018)
- Trilingual: English, French and Kinyarwanda preferred
Compensation
FRw2,500,000 - FRw4,000,000/year
