• Advise clients on upstream and midstream petroleum transactions
• Draft and review production sharing agreements, farm-in/farm-out agreements, and joint operating agreements
• Advise on regulatory compliance with the Petroleum Authority of Uganda
• Support project finance transactions for energy infrastructure
• Advise on environmental compliance and social impact requirements
• Handle disputes related to energy and mining operations
• Liaise with government agencies on licensing and regulatory matters

• LLB degree from a recognized university
• Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre
• Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda
• 5-8 years of experience in energy, oil and gas, or natural resources law
• Knowledge of the Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Act and Mining Act
• Experience in project finance or infrastructure development is an advantage
• Understanding of environmental law and impact assessment regulations
