Job Description
A.S & Associates seeks a Senior Associate specializing in Foreign Direct Investment to advise multinational corporations on market entry, regulatory compliance, and corporate structuring in Bangladesh. The firm is a member of ADVOC and TAG Alliances, handling cross-border matters regularly.
Responsibilities
Advise foreign investors on market entry strategies, company incorporation, and regulatory approvals. Handle BIDA registration, RJSC filings, and sector-specific licensing. Draft joint venture agreements, technology transfer agreements, and shareholders agreements. Coordinate with international law firms on cross-border transactions. Guide clients on repatriation of profits and foreign exchange regulations.
Requirements
LLB from a recognized university (LLM preferred). Enrolled as Advocate. Minimum 5 years experience in FDI and corporate law. Experience with BIDA (Bangladesh Investment Development Authority) processes. Fluent English required.
