Senior Associate — Litigation & Dispute Resolution

About the Role

Khalifeh & Partners is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Litigation and Dispute Resolution department in Amman. You will represent clients before the Court of Cassation, Court of Appeal, and Courts of First Instance across Jordan.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex commercial and civil litigation matters from inception to resolution
• Draft pleadings, memoranda, and legal briefs in Arabic and English for submission to Jordanian courts
• Represent clients in hearings before the Court of Cassation, Court of Appeal, and lower courts
• Advise clients on enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards under the New York Convention
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and trainees in the litigation department
• Coordinate with international counsel on cross-border disputes involving Jordanian law

Requirements

• Licensed member of the Jordan Bar Association with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
• LLB from a recognised Jordanian university (University of Jordan, Yarmouk, or equivalent)
• Proven track record of handling cases before the Court of Cassation
• Strong drafting skills in Arabic and English
• Knowledge of Jordanian Civil Code, Commercial Code, and Civil Procedure Law
• Experience in international arbitration proceedings is preferred
