Job Description
Alem & Associates, one of Lebanon's most prestigious law firms founded in 1953, is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate to join its Beirut office. The role involves advising major regional and international clients on complex corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings across the MENA region.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, joint venture contracts, and corporate governance documents. Conduct legal due diligence for cross-border transactions. Coordinate with regional offices in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai on multi-jurisdictional matters. Supervise junior associates and trainees.
Requirements
Licence en Droit (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized Lebanese or international university. Active membership in the Beirut Bar Association. Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law. Fluency in Arabic, French, and English. Strong knowledge of Lebanese Commercial Code and corporate governance frameworks.
