About the Role
The National Bank of Greece is looking for a Senior Corporate Legal Advisor to join our legal division. You will provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory affairs, and complex banking transactions for Greece's oldest financial institution.
Responsibilities
- Advise the Board and senior management on corporate governance obligations under Greek corporate law
- Manage corporate actions including share capital increases, bond issuances, and AGM procedures
- Oversee compliance with Hellenic Capital Market Commission and ECB reporting requirements
- Handle complex NPL portfolio transactions and restructuring matters
- Lead legal aspects of strategic initiatives and digital banking transformation
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognized Greek university; LLM preferred
- Member of the Dikigoritikos Syllogos Athinon with 8+ years PQE
- Extensive experience in corporate governance and banking regulation
- Deep knowledge of Greek SA law (Law 4548/2018) and capital markets framework
- Fluent in English with excellent legal drafting skills
Compensation
€7,000 - €10,000/month
