BURS is seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to lead its legal division, providing strategic legal guidance on tax policy, dispute management and legislative reform to support government revenue objectives.

Responsibilities
- Lead all legal matters for BURS including litigation strategy
- Advise the Commissioner General on tax policy and legislative drafting
- Manage a team of 5 legal officers
- Represent BURS in ATAF and SADC revenue committee forums
Requirements
- LLB plus LLM or equivalent; post-graduate tax qualification is an asset
- Minimum 7 years experience in revenue administration or tax law
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
