Senior Rechtsanwalt – Commercial Litigation

Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law in Zurich's Seefeld district is looking for a Senior Rechtsanwalt to lead complex commercial litigation mandates before the Handelsgericht Zürich, cantonal courts, and the Swiss Federal Tribunal (Bundesgericht) in Lausanne.

The firm's litigation practice handles high-stakes contract disputes, corporate law controversies, and post-M&A claims (warranty and indemnity disputes) for Swiss and international clients.

What You Will Do

• Lead commercial litigation proceedings before cantonal and federal courts
• Draft court submissions under the Swiss Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO)
• Conduct oral advocacy at court hearings
• Advise on pre-litigation strategy, including provisional measures and evidence preservation
• Handle appeals to the Swiss Federal Tribunal (BGer)

• Manage complex litigation mandates from strategy through judgment
• Draft court submissions, evidence requests, and appeals
• Represent clients at hearings before cantonal and federal courts
• Advise on enforcement of Swiss and foreign judgments
• Mentor junior associates and Praktikanten

• Swiss Anwaltspatent required (Zurich Bar preferred)
• MLaw from a Swiss university
• 7-10 years of experience in commercial litigation
• Strong advocacy skills and track record before the Handelsgericht Zürich and/or Bundesgericht
• Fluent in German and English; French is an advantage
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
