State Counsel – Criminal Justice

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct criminal prosecutions as Deputy Public Prosecutor before the State Courts and High Court
- Prepare charges, submissions, and court documents for criminal proceedings
- Handle appeals to the High Court and Court of Appeal in criminal matters
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies including the Singapore Police Force and CPIB on criminal investigations
- Advise on criminal law policy and legislative reforms under the Penal Code and Criminal Procedure Code
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in criminal law or litigation
- Strong advocacy and oral presentation skills
- High level of integrity and commitment to public service
- Singapore citizen or permanent resident
Compensation
S$7,000 - S$10,000/year
