Transportation Intermediary, attorney, or contracting officer. Experience analyzing and evaluating ocean shipping and other data to determine compliance with cargo preference laws 46 U.S.C. §§ 55301-55305 and 10 U.S.C. § 2631 OR Experience with enforcing or otherwise ensuring compliance with certain Title 46 cabotage laws such as 46 U.S.C. §§ 55102 and 55103 (also known as the “Jones Act” and “Passenger Vessel Services Act”). KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Technical Competence - Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues.
