Tenders and Contracts Manager
Key Objectives:
- Completion, implementation and management of contracts and tenders in across Australia and NZ for the Medical Solutions Division
- Engagement of all key stakeholders to ensure a timely completion of above process
- To provide guidance to the business on corporate and government procurement policies and procedures.
- Analyse information to assess where key improvements can be made.
- Analyse previous tender wins/losses and provide insight for future improvements
- Analysis of sales data to ensure contract compliance, rebates, pricing & discounts and to develop opportunities for the business
- Ongoing development and use of a suite of reporting KPI’s to be used across all jurisdictions and health services – public and private
GS1 – National Catalogue requirements / implementation – liaison with GS1, customers, end users
Applicant Requirements:
- Essential: Experience in managing tendering and contract management processes
- Essential: Experience in category management
- Essential: Experience in Healthcare tendering, public and private
- Preferred: Degree or similar qualified
Specific Knowledge and Skills:
- Professional relationship management skills with suppliers, vendors, key accounts and government tendering authorities
- Contract Management, including an understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Advanced skills with Excel for reporting and analysis purposes
- Proficient with Word, Outlook for drafting and communicating contractual documents
- Communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of GS1 Standards and applications
- Advanced Excel

- Have an affinity with customers and the sales and marketing function.
