Key Responsibilities
- Advise local and foreign businesses on Kurdistan Region commercial licensing requirements
- Handle trade disputes through mediation and Chamber arbitration mechanisms
- Support business registration and company formation processes
- Advise on import/export regulations and customs compliance
- Provide guidance on Kurdistan Region tax obligations and fiscal regulations
- Organize business law seminars and workshops for Chamber members
Requirements
- LLB from a recognized university; commercial law specialization preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial law, trade compliance, or business advisory
- Knowledge of Kurdistan Region commercial regulations
- Fluency in Kurdish (Sorani), Arabic, and English
- Experience with mediation or alternative dispute resolution
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
