Trusts & Private Client Lawyer — Harneys Cyprus, Limassol

Harneys Cyprus is seeking a Lawyer for its Trusts & Private Client practice in Limassol. You will advise HNWIs, family offices, and trustees on the establishment and administration of Cyprus international trusts under the International Trusts Law (L.69(I)/1992, as amended), succession planning, and wealth structuring.

Cyprus's international trust regime, combined with favourable tax treatment and EU membership, makes it a preferred jurisdiction for wealth planning. This role is ideal for a private client lawyer with international exposure.

• Advise on the establishment and structuring of Cyprus international trusts for wealth planning
• Draft trust deeds, letters of wishes, and trustee resolutions
• Advise on succession planning, forced heirship rules, and estate administration under Cap. 195
• Handle regulatory compliance for trustees including CRS/FATCA reporting and AML obligations
• Advise on trust disputes, protector applications, and variation of trust proceedings
• Coordinate with international counsel on cross-border estate and trust matters

• Enrolled member of the Cyprus Bar Association or qualified in a common law jurisdiction
• 3-5 years' PQE in trusts, estate planning, or private client law
• Strong knowledge of the International Trusts Law L.69(I)/1992 (as amended), Trustee Law Cap. 193, and Wills and Succession Law Cap. 195
• Experience with trust establishment, protector appointments, and trust administration
• Understanding of CRS reporting obligations for trustees and substance requirements
• Fluent English; Greek is an advantage
