<p><strong>THE POSITION<br></strong>Our roster has an opening with your name on it</p> <p>FanDuel Group is looking for a Senior Associate of VIP Events to support the VIP hospitality and event offering. As a Senior Associate of VIP events, you will be managing the portfolio of hospitality assets as well as assisting with the planning and delivery of VIP events. Your role will create opportunities to both reward customers and deliver events which allow account managers to have direct interaction with our most valuable players. This includes planning, coordinating, and execution.</p> <p>In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.<br><br></p> <p><strong>THE GAME PLAN</strong><br>Everyone on our team has a part to play</p> <ul> <li>Plan, deliver and execute on VIP events with the support of Key Account Managers.</li> <li>Serve as a liaison between VIP team, various departments and suppliers while effectively communicating any information necessary to successfully execute the event needs and maintaining a good relationship.</li> <li>Conduct research to find best fit venues, entertainment providers and accommodations.</li> <li>Create post event summaries with details of areas of success and improvement.</li> <li>Have working knowledge of event management, event production, payments and payment processing.</li> <li>Maintenance of the VIP event requests board to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of VIP event planning.</li> <li>Support procurement processes for VIP programs, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.</li> <li>Develop and maintain relationships with premium vendors and suppliers to secure exclusive offerings for VIP clients.</li> <li>Track and monitor VIP hospitality budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets and compliance with company policies.</li> <li>Prepare regular budget reports and forecasts for VIP, highlighting variances and cost-saving opportunities.</li> <li>Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to optimize value while maintaining quality standards.</li> <li>Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, invoices, and payment schedules for audit readiness.</li> <li>Other duties as required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>THE STATS</strong><br>What we're looking for in our next teammate</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in high end event planning preferred</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Confident and people focused personality</li> <li>Ability to work well with other departments to ensure events are carried out successfully</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills and experience with Excel</li> <li>Working knowledge or asana, splash, salesforce and SharePoint is a plus</li> <li>Strives to meet targets and deadlines</li> <li>Excellent organizational and planning skills</li> <li>Ability to work on one or more events at a time</li> <li>Intuitive / Problem Solver. Able to adapt in certain situations. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays.
