Adom Jennifer
Adom Iveren Jennifer is a qualified Nigerian legal practitioner with a focused practice in intellectual property law, contract drafting and review, land transactions, CAC and business registration, and legal advisory for individuals and small businesses.
Called to the Nigerian Bar in 2025, Adom holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Benue State University, Makurdi, and a Barrister-at-Law (BL) qualification from the Nigerian Law School. Her practical legal foundation was built during her NYSC service year at the Federal High Court, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, where she served as a Legal/Research Assistant — conducting legal research in support of judicial proceedings, reviewing and analysing case files, and managing Records of Appeal in the court's Appeal Unit.
Beyond her core legal training, Adom has made a deliberate investment in intellectual property law, holding Coursera certifications in Introduction to Intellectual Property (2025) and Copyright Law (2026). This positions her as one of the few early-career Nigerian lawyers with formal, current training in a practice area that is rapidly growing in importance across the creative, tech, and business sectors.
She currently operates a freelance legal practice, providing accessible, no-nonsense legal services to entrepreneurs, landowners, creatives, and small business owners who need solid legal work done without the overhead of a big firm. Her approach is grounded in thorough research, precise legal writing, and an unwavering commitment to protecting her clients' interests.
Adom is based in Makurdi, Benue State, and available for remote and in-person engagements.
