You will advise on offshore wind farm development, power purchase agreements (PPAs), energy storage projects, and green hydrogen initiatives, navigating the Danish Energy Supply Act (Energiforsyningsloven), the Danish Renewable Energy Act (VE-loven), and EU energy regulations.
What You Will Do
- Advise on offshore and onshore wind farm development, including Danish Energy Agency (Energistyrelsen) permitting and environmental impact assessments
- Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements (PPAs) and grid connection agreements with Energinet
- Advise on project finance structures for renewable energy projects, including green bond frameworks
- Handle regulatory matters under the Energiforsyningsloven and VE-loven
- Advise on EU Renewable Energy Directive (RED III) implementation in Denmark
- Support green hydrogen and energy storage project development
Responsibilities
- Advise on renewable energy project development from planning to operation
- Draft and negotiate energy contracts, PPAs, and EPC agreements
- Handle regulatory matters with Energistyrelsen and Energinet
- Support project finance and green bond transactions
- Monitor Danish and EU energy policy developments
Requirements
- Danish Bar admission (advokat) or senior advokatfuldmægtig
- Cand.jur. from a Danish university; specialization in energy or environmental law preferred
- 4-7 years of experience in energy law, project finance, or infrastructure
- Knowledge of the Energiforsyningsloven, VE-loven, and Danish energy regulatory framework
- Fluent in Danish and English
- Understanding of PPA structures and renewable energy project development
Compensation
kr50,000 - kr65,000/year
