Key Responsibilities
- Advise Korean conglomerates and mid-market companies on outbound acquisitions in the US, EU, and Southeast Asia
- Draft transaction documents under both Korean and common law frameworks
- Conduct due diligence coordinating with Baker McKenzie offices across 40+ countries
- Advise on Korean foreign exchange regulations, Foreign Investment Promotion Act, and overseas investment reporting to the Bank of Korea
- Support inbound investors on Korean market entry structures including joint ventures and branch offices
Requirements
- Korean 변호사 licence with 3-5 years of M&A or corporate experience
- Outstanding English proficiency (native or near-native); LLM and admission to a US/UK bar strongly preferred
- Experience working on cross-border transactions involving Korean parties
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment bridging Korean and international legal practice
Compensation
₩9,000,000 - ₩14,000,000/year
