Job Description

Szecskay Attorneys at Law seeks a Banking and Finance Lawyer to join its growing finance practice. The role involves advising domestic and international banks, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers on a wide range of financing transactions including project finance, acquisition finance, and debt restructuring.

Responsibilities

Draft and review loan agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements. Advise lenders and borrowers on regulatory requirements under Hungarian banking law. Support project finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Conduct legal due diligence on financing matters. Liaise with counterparty counsel and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

Hungarian bar admission with 4-6 years of experience in banking and finance law. Thorough understanding of Hungarian banking regulations and EU financial directives. Excellent drafting skills in both Hungarian and English. Experience with loan documentation and security packages.
