Job Description
OTP Bank, Hungary's largest commercial bank, seeks a Legal Counsel for its Regulatory Compliance department. The role involves ensuring the bank's compliance with Hungarian and EU financial regulations, including MiFID II, PSD2, and anti-money laundering requirements.
Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret new financial regulations affecting OTP Bank's operations. Draft internal compliance policies and procedures aligned with MNB requirements. Advise business units on regulatory implications of new products and services. Support regulatory examinations and audits. Prepare regulatory filings and reports for the MNB and other authorities.
Requirements
Hungarian law degree with 3-5 years of experience in financial regulatory law. Knowledge of MNB (Magyar Nemzeti Bank) supervisory requirements and EU banking directives. Experience with AML/KYC compliance frameworks. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Hungarian and English fluency required.
