Job Description
DLA Piper Budapest is seeking a Senior Data Protection and GDPR Counsel to lead its privacy and data protection practice in Hungary. The role involves advising multinational corporations on GDPR compliance, data breach response, and cross-border data transfer mechanisms.

Responsibilities
Lead GDPR compliance projects for multinational clients operating in Hungary. Advise on data processing agreements, privacy policies, and cookie compliance. Handle data subject access requests and data breach incident response. Represent clients before the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH). Develop and deliver data protection training programmes.
Requirements
At least 7 years of data protection law experience. CIPP/E certification preferred. Expert knowledge of GDPR, Hungarian Data Protection Act (Infotv.), and NAIH regulatory practice. Experience handling data breach notifications and DPIA processes. Fluent English and Hungarian required.
