Abogado — Bancario y Financiero

Uría Menéndez is seeking an Abogado to strengthen its preeminent Banking & Finance practice in Madrid. Based at Calle Príncipe de Vergara 187, you will advise Spain's largest banks, international lenders, and borrowers on syndicated lending, acquisition finance, project finance, and debt restructurings, working closely with the Banco de España and CNMV regulatory frameworks.

Responsabilidades Principales

• Draft and negotiate syndicated loan agreements, security packages, and intercreditor agreements under Spanish law
• Advise on compliance with Spain's banking regulation framework — Ley 10/2014 de Ordenación, Supervisión y Solvencia de Entidades de Crédito and Banco de España circulars
• Support restructuring mandates under the Ley Concursal (Texto Refundido, Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2020), including homologación de acuerdos de refinanciación
• Conduct legal due diligence on Spanish collateral packages including hipotecas and prendas

Requisitos

• Graduado en Derecho with Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía
• Colegiado at ICAM; 3-5 years PQE in banking and finance
• Knowledge of Ley Concursal and Spanish insolvency procedures
• Fluent English required for cross-border transactions
