The attorney filling this position will represent the United States, its agencies, and employees predominantly in civil litigation brought by or against the government. The attorney may handle a variety of cases including: actions under the Federal Tort Claims Act (premises liability, vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, etc.), constitutional tort claims against federal employees, general employment litigation, and litigation filed by federal prisoners and immigration detainees.
