Job Description
Olaniwun Ajayi LP seeks a Litigation & Arbitration Associate for the Lagos office. The firm’s disputes practice is one of the most established in Nigeria, handling high-stakes commercial litigation before the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and Federal High Court, as well as international arbitration under ICC, LCIA and ICSID rules.
Responsibilities
- Drafting court processes, arbitration submissions and legal opinions
- Appearing before Nigerian courts at all levels
- Conducting legal research on complex commercial disputes
- Assisting with international arbitration proceedings
- Managing case files and liaising with clients on litigation strategy
Requirements
- LL.B and B.L. with admission to the Nigerian Bar
- 2-4 years post-call experience in commercial litigation or arbitration
- Strong advocacy and courtroom skills
- Experience with arbitration proceedings (domestic or international) preferred
- Excellent legal writing and research abilities
