Job Description

Nordea is seeking a Compliance Paralegal to support our Compliance function in Helsinki. You will assist compliance officers and lawyers with regulatory monitoring, policy drafting, and compliance testing across Nordea's Finnish operations.The role provides exposure to a wide range of financial regulations including the Luottolaitoslaki (Credit Institutions Act), securities regulation, and AML requirements. Support compliance officers with regulatory monitoring and analysis. Assist with compliance testing and control assessments. Draft and update compliance policies and procedures. Prepare regulatory reports and management information. Maintain compliance databases and documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in law or legal studies. 1-3 years of compliance or legal support experience in financial services preferred. Basic knowledge of Finnish financial regulation and the Luottolaitoslaki. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Fluent in Finnish and English.
